Problem / Brief
The National Gallery aimed to engage younger, digital-native audiences with its Renaissance-focused Leonardo da Vinci exhibition. The goal was to transform classical art into modern, snackable content that would spark curiosity and increase physical footfall to the gallery.

Solution
Cactus Istanbul developed a series of four 30-second animated chapters, each serving as a thematic window, exploring everything from the Renaissance era to Leonardo’s unique techniques. By using the exhibition’s original color palette and immersive atmosphere, we seamlessly translated Leonardo’s fusion of art and science into a digital storytelling experience optimized for mobile and tablet viewers.

Result
The project successfully bridged classical art with contemporary digital consumption habits, introducing Leonardo to a new generation through vivid, accessible storytelling. Beyond being a digital tribute, it meaningfully increased real-world engagement, proving Cactus Istanbul’s ability to make timeless masterpieces relevant and inspiring for today’s audiences.
